Josh Hill

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, HCPC, MCSP, Level 4 Sports Massage, EFAiF

Josh graduated from the University of Nottingham with First-Class Honours in Physiotherapy. He has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation, with experience across MSK, sports and rehabilitation settings. Working with people of different ages, backgrounds and activity levels has shaped his whole-person approach to physiotherapy and his focus on understanding what matters most to each patient.

During his time at the University of Nottingham, Josh worked with university football and rugby players both pitch-side and in the clinic. This involved injury assessment and management, supporting players through their rehabilitation and contributing to strength & conditioning sessions, giving him experience across the journey from injury through to returning to sport.

Josh takes a collaborative, patient-centred approach to physiotherapy, building open and trusting relationships with his patients. He takes time to understand what matters most to each individual and works with them towards their personal goals. With a particular interest in exercise-based rehabilitation and education, Josh helps patients understand their condition and feel confident taking an active role in their recovery. He also uses manual therapy where appropriate to manage symptoms, improve movement and support rehabilitation progress.

Away from the clinic, Josh is a keen sportsman and currently plays football at Step 6 of the non-league system. He also enjoys running and strength training, giving him a personal understanding of the demands of training, competition and maintaining an active lifestyle. Outside of sport, Josh has a passion for travelling, exploring new places and hiking, and particularly enjoys combining the two whenever he gets the opportunity
