Aniela Kurzawa

MSc Physiotherapy (Distinction), BSc Health & Exercise Science (First Class), Level 3 Sports Massage and Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Aniela is a physiotherapist with a Distinction in her MSc and a First Class BSc in Health & Exercise Science. Her career has centred on exercise, rehabilitation and public health promotion, with a particular focus on helping people overcome barriers to physical activity

She has worked across both private and public sectors, including health screening and exercise assessment, before spending five years in the NHS across mental health services and oncology. There, she supported patients through prehabilitation and rehabilitation, preparing them physically for surgery and treatment, and helping them rebuild strength, movement, confidence and function. Her work with women undergoing breast cancer treatment, and during and after menopause, has shaped her particular interest in women's health and breast cancer care.

Alongside physiotherapy, Aniela has practised as a sports massage therapist since 2017 and is now qualified in manual lymphatic drainage. She has experience working with a diverse range of individuals, including preparing boxers for competitions, combining manual therapy with tailored exercise prescription. She herself enjoys boxing and yoga, giving her a personal understanding of the strength, mobility and recovery demands her patients face in training and competition.

Aniela takes a holistic, compassionate approach using problem-solving skills to build individualised, collaborative programmes that help patients regain confidence and meet and exceed their goals.
