Breast Cancer Awareness
According to “Breast Cancer Now” one of UK’s largest breast cancer research charities, around 11,500 women and 80 men die from breast cancer every year – that’s nearly 1,000 deaths each month.
Throughout October, schools, businesses and communities come together to organise fundraising events to raise money which goes towards education, science programmes and campaigns which aim to help prevent breast cancer.
This year, Wimbledon Physiotherapy Clinic will be joining "Breast Cancer Now" in the ongoing fight.
Friday 20th October is ‘Wear it pink’ day, on this day, all our members of staff will be wearing something pink. If you have an appointment with us on Friday 20th October, why don’t you join us and wear pink too?
We will also have pink treats for anyone who wishes to donate towards helping fight this disease, so if you are passing by pop in and say hello to Pethrona. She will be very happy to see you with her “wear it pink” donation box.
