Wendy Skinner

BSc (hons), MCSP, MMACP

Wendy Skinner qualified with a degree in physiotherapy in 1995 and subsequently spent 7 years working for the NHS, predominantly at Charing Cross Hospital in Hammersmith.

 

She left the NHS in 2002 to enter private practice and purchased Wimbledon Physiotherapy Clinic in 2003. Since then she has continued to further her knowledge base. She has become a qualified member of the MACP and now mentors their students, has certificates in sports physio and orthopaedic medicine. Wendy also regularly practices acupuncture and is studying towards her qualification in injection therapy.

 

Wendy has always been heavily involved in sports physiotherapy and has worked with Esher Rugby Club and in national league hockey and golf. She has a very hands-on approach to her treatment and treats all aspects of neuromuscular conditions from low back pain to end stage sports rehab.

 

Wendy now divides her time between managing and treating at Wimbledon Physiotherapy Clinic and managing the physiotherapy department at a local private hospital.
